Access Time and Fin Fish are angels from Arina Tanemura's beautiful series Kamikaze Kaitou Jeanne. The story follows Kusakabe Maron, a high-school gymnast who discovers that she is Kaitou Jeanne, the incarnation of Jeanne d'Arc. Her mission is to fight on behalf of Kami-sama and defeat demons hiding in works of art. Her mission is compromised by the appearance of Kaitou Sinbad, later revealed as classmate Nagoya Chiaki, who competes with Jeanne for sealing demons.
Access Time and Fin Fish are angels who help the two Kaitou in their missions. Access is a kuro-tenshi, or black-winged angel, who aids Sinbad, and Fin is a jun-tenshi, or white-winged angel, who aids Jeanne. Although at first the two angels do not seem to know one another, in truth they share a dark past.
Access and Fin knew each other when they were still angels-in-training. Access remained at the lowest level because of his mischievous shenanagans, but Fin progressed quickly and was allowed to descend to earth. It is suggested that Access had feelings for Fin, but she leaves quickly and tells him that she will hear what he has to say when she returns to heaven. The descent to earth turns sour when the tenshi are captured and Fin is banished from heaven.
When the two meet again, Access sacrifices his power to bring Fin back from Maou-sama's hold. Their romance is short-lived, however, because Fin takes the blow for Maou-sama in his final battle with Jeanne, refusing to let him be alone. She confesses her love for Access and dies in his arms.
