Even the sweetest of sweethearts has his share of shadows. Nobody can be free of that dark corner of his heart. Some choose to override the darkness with light, but some decide to let the darkness take over.
Of his four alteregos, Danburite is the one of which the least is known. Although he has been working for the dark agency since the very beginning, Danburite is not mentioned until Volume 7: The Dark Agency's Plot. For the majority of his career, he directs youma in stealing energy and oversees progress.
He works under the Four Kings of the Dark Kingdom--these being Kunzite, Nephrite, Zoisite, and Jadeite. If you are familiar with Bishoujo Senshi Sailormoon, you will notice that these are the same Four Kings that appear working under Queen Beryl in the first season. His rank is a bit of a mystery--He is under the shitennou, but presumably above others in the system.
Danburite's mission? To take over Tokyo, then Japan, then the world. It is a precursor to the first-season BSSM battle where the Dark Kingdom seeks to drain energy to revive Metallia. Quite a job thrust on him, but as in almost any story, the antagonist always fails. Each youma he sends out always becomes unsuccessful due to the work of Sailor V.
