Takeuchi is a master of creating simple stories that sweep you off your feet. Her short collection Miss Rain does exactly that. The collection of five short stories explores friendship, growing up, and first blossoms of romance. Rhapsody (previously known as Azure Rain) is a shrine to the collection's namesake, Kuramitsu Rena/Miss Rain. She is very much the Cinderella in your typical fairy tale. This shrine opened on January 22, 2002.
